Composite Stable Doors
Our quality manufactured composite stable doors are a durable and secure option for your home, offering excellent acoustic properties and thermal efficiency with doors achieving a U-value of 1.4 or better. The upper and lower halves open independently, allowing fresh air and natural daylight in while helping to keep pets and children secure indoors.
Unlike a standard cottage door simply cut in half, each leaf has upper and lower sections completely surrounded by a rigid subframe. The 48mm timber core—comprising a 44mm slab with a 4mm skin—creates a stronger, heavier and more robust stable door with high-security multipoint locking.
Whether you need a back door leading to your garden, a barn door for your cottage or a traditional front door, our composite stable doors suit virtually any property style.
They are available in a wide range of external and internal colours, glass and hardware options, with free UK mainland delivery.
Our composite stable doors have been thermally simulated in accordance with BS EN ISO 10077-2:2003 and achieve U-values of 1.4 W/m²K or better when used with the large outer frame.
